“Men anpil chay pa lou. / Many hands make the load lighter.” -Haitian proverb
Civil unrest continues to threaten lives throughout the country; therefore, ISA has postponed all travel to Haiti until peace and security can be restored. We made this decision with a heavy heart, but the safety of our teams and friends in Haiti is always a primary concern. We are working to sustain our friends' well-being.
We are planning, preparing, and praying for the day when we can safely return; until that time, we ask you to join us in praying for our friends in Haiti.
ISA’s excursions to Haiti are designed to facilitate highly personal experiences for each participant by creating an environment where participants have the greatest opportunities to deliver hope and faith to those in need and to discover Haitian culture. We welcome everyone who has a heart to serve and a desire to apply their gifts and skills.
ISA is now preparing churches in Haiti to launch our "Fertile Soil" disciple-making project. We are recruiting people to help us develop the training resources. We need diverse skills to create these in advance of a mission trip. We also need leaders to serve as trainers to Haitian churches on a future trip.
